There is no more information in this book, than on the AA website, but the format is usable on the move and easy enough to look for top sites in an area. The camping card discount scheme only accounts for 169 sites at the moment and the discount offered is up to individual site.

Over 900 sites annually inspected and rated. The AA inspects and rates a selection of campsites in the UK. Sites are rated using the AA pennant system and each site is given a percentage score. This information is also available on the AA website.

506 pages, including about 350 pages of UK campsite listings, 49 page general camping related information (at the front of the book), walks and cycle route descriptions, road maps (at the back of the book). There is a cut-out AA camping card for use in the new money saving scheme.

The listings are divided into England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Ireland. Sub-sections for counties including 1 or 2 page introduction to the area.
