I've not tried it out as yet sounds like the last people to leave a review either had a bit of a tiff with the management / owner . I have children and making plans to visit the site really soon . So rest assured I will leave a honest reliable review . Watch this space

What a dump! Didn't stay. Apparently we were too ignorant to the owner/manager, (he told us - he's not an athlete - he also told us) when after knocking on his door and waiting 10 mins before leaving. He the chased us in his 4x4 and drove at us in an intimidating way. (myself and wife were on a motorbike) When he cornered us he proceeded to turn purple and spit feathers telling us, "get out of here, get out of here and don't come back", he then appeared to do all he could, using his 4x4, to prevent us leaving.
The site looked dirty and uncared for (somewhat like the owner) with bits of vehicles abandoned around the unlit tracks, no signs other than 'Private - not National Trust property' every 50 Mtrs or so. The tracks themselves were deeply rutted and potholed. There was a toilt block, it looked datedand in need of maintenance but we did not go inside so cannot comment on cleanliness, we did not notice any other facilities, but then we didn't get much chance. The entire site had an air of abandonment, when we called on a sunny Sunday afternoon, the entire site was deserted.
We were amazed at his ranting and at first thought he was joking - he wasn't! We are both over 60 and were (given any oportunity) polite, I have to say though, if this was the only site within our reach we would give up camping. The man seemed (in our opinion) quite unbalanced and could certainly use some anger management classes.
Other reviewers elsewhere have had similar experiences proving that we did not imagine any of this, and we can only suggest that the site should carry a (physical) health warning. I rated the site as poor mainly because there is nothing lower, I would not recommend it, even in an emergency.
