I have just walked around Porth Joke and reminded myself how beautful the end campsite is. I used to go there years ago and it doesn't seem to have changed. It used to be run by a lovely family, the Hardys, who were always so welcoming. i intend doing a weekend there very soon to miss the summer rush. A true Cornish gem.... if you want beauty and quiet.

We live very near by (8miles) and come to Polly Joke as much as possible for my son to body board and the peace and beauty of the place and the stunning beach and cliff walks not to mention Cubert Common.
We love the campsite and its position unfortunatly we cannot stay there as it is a dog free site so our miniture dash would not be welcome there. We would come and camp for the weekend as much as we could with our little camper as it is we normally finish off the day in the N/T car park next to the site having a bbq. There are a lot of very stunning beaches etc in the vivinity and in our humble opinion is one of the best areas that you could come and camp in Cornwall.
